FEATURED PAINTING
By Zach Frank
"Problems Around What You Do To My Body" is a part of the ‘Problems’ series by Zach Frank, which highlights his well-known acrylic dab technique. It was always my favorite out of the series and I had always planned on buying it.
As we approached the release of Pain Killer, I made a strong connection between the song and the piece. At first, I asked Zach if I could use it for the cover. It wasn’t long before it became part of my collection.
Each acrylic dab is counted and documented.
WELCOME TO THE
The Time Isn’t Real Museum is an interactive place where tapping objects or people can unlock exclusive content and prizes.
Feel free to explore and get a deeper look into the mind of Grabbitz, and how Time Isn’t Real came to be.
All are welcome.
FEATURED PIECE
by Gianna Perillo
This is an original drawing by Grabbitz's niece Gianna. She also appears on the cover of Time Isn't Real.
We copied, printed and cut out hundreds of them, hung them in front of a blue piece of fabric, and used that for the Pigs In The Sky cover art & lyric video.
THANK YOU

I’m often times overwhelmed by the amount of talent within my community of fans and listeners. Nothing brings me more pleasure than being able to connect with someone through music, and have them create art from it. Here are some select pieces from the gang.

BEHIND THE SCENES
MADE WITH STILLS
No cars were harmed in the making of this video. I photoshopped the explosion myself.
One day, Mac Cappuccino walks into a bar to discuss a new video with Frank Coppola and I. We already have an idea of where we were going, but needed to expand on some ideas, and figure out how to execute. Mac opens his iPad and says
“Ok, don’t kill me, but what if we scratch that whole idea, and just do this?”
We proceeded to watch this in its’ entirety… at the bar.

GRABBITZ & VALORANT
In 2021 I was lucky enough to be brought on by Riot Games to create the theme for the Valorant Champions World Tour. I was then able to perform “Die For You” live in Germany for the final championship with Zedd, who also remixed the song. We performed alongside Rezz and Pvris as well.
LOVE LIFE
The lady you just touched is Jill. How dare you. She’s been around from the inception to completion of this album and helps me keep my head on straight. I like it when my head is on straight. So I asked her to marry me. The song that wound up playing while it happened was Reckoner by Radiohead and I’m pretty pleased with that.
I obviously have a very strong connection with this song now.

TRACK 3 on TIME ISN’T REAL
We shot this at a hotel in Buffalo that has a reputation for being “haunted”. So we decided to use the creepiness to our advantage, and make the premise of the video Grabbitz checking into a haunted hotel.
Little did we know, we captured what seems to be a real ghost in one of the frames. Search the museum to find out more, and see it for yourself.

A TRIBUTE TO
Zach is one of my best friends and long time collaborators. He’s been an integral part of everything I’ve done in the last 5 years, on top of being one of my biggest supporters.
He is one of the greatest artists of our generation. His artistic sense and abilities are unmatched, and it has been a wild ride watching the world start to recognize it.
His signature acrylic dab paintings, one of his many techniques, has recently landed him widespread notoriety and commissions from real estate moguls Sotheby’s, to the legendary golf tournament The Masters.
We will always continue to push and pull each other upward while achieving our artistic goals.
We have worked tirelessly on the art for Time Isn’t Real.
Here are some memories from over the years. From drunken LA nights, to focused work nights at home.
We have kind of covered it all together.

THROWBACK
2017
“Things Change” was my first full length album. I put it out independently, because no one could really understand the direction I was going. I think everyone expected pure dance music, and not this alternative hybrid I had presented.
The songwriter and singer in me was starting to sprout and I couldn’t do anything to stop it.
This was just after I had suffered my greatest loss in life, my mother. I was 21, and in the middle of putting together songs for the next album, and then couldn’t make anything for a few months. It changed my life, changed my direction, so I thought the title ending up uniquely fitting.
SONG HIGHLIGHT
This song is my tribute to the songs Mark Evans and I have made over the last few years, called Bad Lovers Club. It serves as a breaking point in the album, where some of the dance music fades and heads down a new road… a ‘rocky’ one. BLC Suite is a combination of the melodies from both of the following songs “Wolf Dressed Up As a Sheep” and “Dying To Know You”, and combines them into one medley. Below is a collage of the sheet music, and the original demo I made with fake strings (the difference between this and the finished product is astounding). I then brought it to GCR Audio in Buffalo to record the beautiful playing of Katie Weissman & Gretchen Fisher. Fred Betschen and I recorded them out of Studio A.
A SONG THAT DIDN’T MAKE THE ALBUM
This song makes me feel really good, but didn’t fit the vibe with the rest of the album. If you think I should release it, check the “Yes” box below, and your submission will be reviewed by museum staff.
SONG HIGHLIGHT
The last song on the album, but arguably my favorite. I wrote this with Mark Evans in my Downtown Los Angeles apartment.
Fun fact: the first take I ever recorded, all the way through, is the only and final take. Below is the lyrics and the earliest version of the song I can find.
PLAYLIST
Here’s every song I’ve ever released or been a part of. All in one convenient playlist. Enjoy.
SONG HIGHLIGHT
Fun Fact: The street noise in the beginning of the song is actually audio I recorded on the streets of Santa Barbara near a local wine shop. I bought a bottle of sweet red wine that day, and it was gone by nightfall.
Rejected cover art for Comedown
DOG HIGHLIGHT
This is Z’s dog Uno. He has definitely been around for a lot of the work we put into this album, and has kept us chill whenever we wanted to rip our own heads off.
Thanks for being a good dude, Uno.

SONG HIGHLIGHT
I met Eddie in 2019 and we clicked. I had already been a fan of his unique style musically, but when we got along personally, we agreed we had to collaborate on something. A few back and forths brought us to “87 Seconds”. Both of us couldn’t be more excited to share this song with you.

UNRELEASED SONG
I made this exclusively as the theme song to the opening segment of the Pigs In The Sky Music Film. I had just released a 1993 version of Pigs, so I wanted to try the 60’s. I tried to make it sound authentic and actually had a lot of fun making this as a joke. Enjoy.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Here lies the first original draft for the combined scripts. This video started as just “Teleport”, but Teleport was always supposed to live with Comedown, which is when Mac and I started brooding on a sci-fi time loop sequel/ prequel double feature.

DEMO
I wrote this song with some incredibly talented guys, Rob Ellmore (Ruffian), McKay Stevens, and Peter Hanna. We were all put together for a session at Ultra Studios in Hollywood. We jammed on a Fender Telecaster, and so it began.

BEHIND THE SCENES
Here lies some of the earliest renderings of the museum.
It began as a 14’x1’ sketch, and has turned into this.
I wanted to create a chaotic place for you to come explore and enjoy the album, almost like a trip inside my head.
A STORY
You’re sitting on a train. There’s quite an interesting woman with blue hair sitting across from you. You’re looking down at your phone, but for some reason, she’s looking right at you.
She finally gets your attention. “I can see the future,” she says to you and smiles.
You take a moment. “Is that so?” you reply, now a bit unnerved.
She slowly gazes up to the louder speaker on the ceiling of the metro.
You look to your right and left. No one seems to have heard anything.
You look back across and she’s gone.
EXTENDED VERSION
The original version of King / Ghost In A Song was just “King” and it had 2 verses. I’ve been asked a number of times why it didn’t go longer, so I wanted to give you the drafted version. Enjoy.

MUSICAL MEDITATION
I wrote this piece of music as a form of music meditation.
A short vessel for you to feel something.
Our attention spans are shot. Yes I mean shot, not ‘short’.
We have to practice focus.
Give yourself a moment to listen, and take in this brief and peaceful journey.
Notice how it makes you feel.
Where does it take you?
When?
